Talking in my sleep

MissEDashwood · 06/05/2017 03:07

I sleep quite a bit, I'm getting into trouble as I'll catch some 😴😴😴 at any point. I've spoke in my sleep usually when stressed, boy am I stressed right now.

The only thing is I make sure DC are in bed, as I'm having pretty horrific dreams about triggering stuff to other women. My husband finds it irritating.

I don't even know the psychology behind dreams, just that I'm talking about whatever random thing I'm dreaming.

Does anyone else do this?

Trigger Warning ahead

😨

One dream was about rape and getting attacked, I'm pretty restless like I'm fighting in my dream, I've nearly fallen off the sofa. So I've woke up near on falling off the sofa.

Thank you for any help.

I have been told I talk in my sleep. My husband certainly does, but never coherently - it's a sort of blah-blah-blah type noise, as if you can't quite catch what someone is saying.

Are you stressed/anxious IRL, OP? Most of my dreams are vaguely unpleasant, but they're rarely horrific - could your frightening dreams be related to anything you're undergoing in real life?

There's a bit of stress but I'm not getting attacked or anything IRL.

It's more frustration, like I have little help but I'm really ill. I'll give DH a shopping list, he'll buy what he thinks I need, not what I actually need.

So tonight it would have been nice if I had something to drink. That request even though I was paying was totally ignored, but he's allowed to go out and do what he wants.

It's like I can't argue back as he'll be all 'I'm not your slave get a taxi!' Yet if I was to go to the shops just to get what I want it would be an extra £7/8. The whole point of going to this specific shop is they sell what I wanted.
