What are these spots on DS face?

DS is 16months. Has had these spots on and off for 3 weeks now. 4 or 5 at a time, cheeks, chin and ears. Rest of body is absolutely crystal clear. No other symptoms. They are bright red, pimple size with a fluidy centre.

Chicken pox possibly. This is how my DC 1 and 2 started.

I thought maybe chicken pox but they come and go. He was spot free for 3 or 4 days until they came back this morning.

Mine had them and they were just sports - acne type spots and we were told not to worry.
