I have a good friend. She is very supportive. A confident mature woman. We share lots of laughs.
But she is constantly on the phone, usually to family members.
I think it's rude and if she's texting when it's just the two of us I make the point of waiting until she's finished.
Bad manners or AIBU?

Yes, rude. I think I would leave the room if she did it in my house and I'd probably stop going to hers so much.

Bad manners if you've met up with each other. Lots of people don't view it like that though.

I don't do it in genral but if it was important I still carry on with conversation I don't just stop and ignore. My sister does it all the time and it is very rude. Usually I'm telling her something and then few days down the line she's asking me something on the same subject I've already told her she just wasn't listening.
