Is there any way to have children after you have been through the menopause?

There is: through IVF with donated eggs. I was diagnosed with ovarian failure when I was 31: all the symptoms of being perimeno and absolutely no ovulation. Now I have a daughter thanks to donor egg IVF.

Why do you ask OP? You ok?

You might find more help on the fertility boards than here.

Thank you sage I seem to be going through the menopause far earlier than I could have anticipated and I am childless so to potentially have that choice removed from me is upsetting. Thank you again you have given me some hope x

I had at least one blood test which suggested I was going through the menopause. Almost two years later I had a newborn. Totally unexpected so you never know.
