What? Who screams this at you? Are you sitting in the dark?

splendide · 26/04/2017 14:18

Is this your husband?

ghostyslovesheets · 26/04/2017 14:19

Are you sat in a cafe in the dark ?

BodyformForYou · 26/04/2017 14:29

More detail OP

user1491572121 · 26/04/2017 14:44

Now I'm imagining OP sitting in a cafe and repeatedly turning off the lights....the waiter keeps shouting at her because she won't have a cup of tea.

Er....Hmm

IloveBanff · 26/04/2017 17:57

What a bizarre thread. The OP came back and still didn't explain! Confused

summersloegin · 26/04/2017 18:02

Sorry, I misread the tone and believed everyone was just laughing at me (in a nice way.)

I was talking about when in my case I am vegan. People can become quite antagonistic when trying to get you to eat certain foods. And at work I went to fill in paperwork (my work is primarily based in people's homes) and people shout PUT THE LIGHT ON even though I don't need to, I can see Confused

I sometimes feel I spend my days rejecting food and lights :)

Good luck OP, I hope nobody tries to force light or food or a cup of tea on you again today Smile

I know Navy, I was upset (not about something so silly!) and hormonal - forgiven? :)

picklemepopcorn · 26/04/2017 18:10

Ah, helpful advice! I don't know how old you are, but when I hit 45 I suddenly couldn't see without the light on. Now it's incomprehensible to me that the young are able to read and write in semi darkness... PUT THE LIGHT ON! Wink

picklemepopcorn · 26/04/2017 18:12

And now I'm hearing that woman from father ted saying 'Ah go on...'

I'd scream at you too, OP, as you're not making any sense. I hate it when people don't talk sense.

ChocolateSherberts2017 · 26/04/2017 20:47

Ok I understand, I had a similar incident at the Dr's today. I had to update my contact details form so went over to the reception desk to lean on. The receptionist snapped at me Sat that she hadn't started work yet. I explained that I wanted to lean on the desk while I updated the form. She just huffed and puffed and gave me a filthy look, a total overreaction on her part.
