To not wake the baby?

She'll probably have woken by the time I write this but DD is 8 weeks old and tonight is the first night she's gone down after her bath and pretty much stayed asleep save a couple of dummy runs/shushing. This is big news as she's screamed the house down from 7 to 10pm for the last 6 weeks (colic). DS never had this and was going down from around 6 weeks.
I'm sitting in bed and she's fast asleep in the crib next to me but due a feed (it's been 3 hours) and nappy change (also 3 hrs but will just be wet). New territory for this baby so do I wake her now to feed/change or leave her to see what happens....?
Normally she'd sleep 10.30pm to 2am (ish). Feed then sleep until around 5.30am.

Leave her!!!

Why is she due a change? Babies who sleep through can go all night in just wet nappies can't they? And maybe she hasn't woken as she's starting to do longer stretches before her next feed? Or are you having to do timed 3 hourly feeds? I'd leave her. No need to change just a wet nappy - can certainly be left till she wakes for a feed. Enjoy it, even if it's only an extra 10 mins!

I'd wake a baby that needed a feed for a medical reason, other than that leather sleep and get some rest yourself.

If she's wet and uncomfortable she'll let you know, ditto hungry.

Dear me sleep deprivation does the weirdest of things to a mummy. Under no circumstances wake that bubba! Unless you have rocks in your head??!

Leave her!

Her nappy will be fine unless it's dirty.

Only change a poo nappy during the night! Or if it's leaked.
Sod's law dictates she'll wake as soon as you drop off though.

Honestly just leave her. Hopefully she will go longer and longer between feeds as she grows. Hopefully she will sleep for longer and longer periods without waking for food or to be changed. Thats the general idea so dont go waking her!!

Def don't wake her! She will let you know when she's hungry.

I was advised to not leave longer than 3 hours in the early days between feeds but by 8 weeks they're big enough to last longer.

Also does your daughter have any other symptoms of reflux or silent reflux?

Thanks all! Feeding now but it's 1.30 so she went a while before waking. No specific need for a 3 hour feed, just the pattern she's got herself in. Don't normally change her in the night but it'll be over 12 hrs she'll be in this nappy as she'll wake for the day around 8.30 (after feeding 5.30 ish) oh well....fingers crossed she goes down tomorrow too...😬

I used to worry about nappies too but it really is fine. She would wake if she was uncomfortable.

When I was in hospital with ds the nurses made me wake my baby every 3 hours to feed. He was in hospital with a floppy larynx. As soon as I got home I fed him when he woke and he put on weight quicker and was a much happier baby. He's 12 weeks now and sleeps through most nights.
