to not want to cancel an eBay order?

My item got sold on eBay and the buyer wants me to cancel it because she changed her mind.

It's ok for me if my item does not get sold, but it has happened many times (diff buyers though) and I want buyers to learn that they should not bid if they are not sure.

AIBU?

YANBU.

I never even knew buyers could do this. I wouldn't cancel it, it's supposed to be binding isn't it? If she's changed her mind she can sell it on herself.

YANBU, especially if you had listed for days for bids.

I'd wait and record it as a non payment then it gets recorded and if it's a pattern for the the buyer eBay can take action! You arent obliged to cancel anything if your ok waiting a bit longer to relist it

As Madame Pomfrey said.
