I'm not surprised, either, about the relatively flat-lining post the recent missile strike. Military action may traditionally improve Presidential ratings for a time but people also like to feel that their President was actually clear what he was doing and why. 45's performance post-strike has just left many people feeling embarrassed - and more conscious of who they've given this military power to.

Sounds like a gross understatement to me!

And even then, there's an imp,ication that she needed to keep on until he got it. I suspect it's more likely that she realised that, by whatever point, she was on a hiding to nothing and just gave up.
