Ossof is at 48.6%, and NYT extimates he will end up with 47.7% There are about 18 candidates, including several republicans, and if no one gets 50%, there will be a run-off between the top 2.

How close for Osoff. How can that orange buffoon call it a "big win for R"? Surely it's a slap in the face given that no Dem candidate has ever even neared 40% there and Romney won by 24%. A great result I would say! Bigly and yuge!

He's clearly rattled in his tweet and what a nerve talking about major outside money given his record. . Osoff got more in a republican district than Trump did in the Election!

So, those of you with the brains, for this kind of thing, could you tell me what are the chances of Osoff getting more than 50% in the run-off?

dumdedum it's one and the same thing I think (unless spoiled ballots count)! As there's only two candidates, for anyone to get a majority they'd have to get over 50% could be completely wrong and if so, I blame the lack of sleep
