Arghhhhh DD has just asked me to look at her sore bits and FECKING THREADWORMS.

Have tried all local supermarkets and NHS 111 but there are no pharmacists open until tomorrow.

WHY can't you buy Ovex off the shelf when you only ever discover that you need it at midnight?!?! AIBU?

She's probably had them a while and one more night won't hurt. You can I think apply Vaseline to the area and this will prevent itching at night. I haven't tried this but I read it somewhere.
I keep a stock of ovex now after several visitations...

Yes, I know it's disgusting and you want them DEAD! NOW! But she's probably had them for weeks - it's not an actual emergency.

YABU. You are welcome to challenge the MHRA over the legal status of mebendazole though, seeing as you consider it to be innocuous.
