AIBU to expect dishwasher to bugger up.....

..... not on a bank holiday just before term starts. When it could have buggered up a week ago and I would have been on holiday!

Not sure whether to try and get it repaired, or just get a new one!

Door won't stay shut unless you lean on it and I'm not leaning on the door for 29min everytime I want to clean the dishes!!!

Stop moaning our dishwasher takes 90 minutes.
I hate to say it but these days it is probably better to replace it than repair it. Things seem to be built to fail.

Never had a dishwasher so unfortunately cannot relate.

i'm handwashing as mine stopped working months ago. Now the kids lend a hand washing and drying - it's quite nice doing it together

we had one that liked to pop the door....i wedged it with a kitchen chair

pita, but the silver lining was that the chair was in the way, so dh was much more prompt at emptying the damned thing

We're not owed anything by it, it came free with the house, is an integrated one though so more costly to replace :-(

It it could be something really simple though!
