Seen but not heard

Currently have DH and two of his friends sat in our living room drinking, all fine they're nice guys. What I'm struggling with is for the last 1 hr and a half they've been speaking another language which I don't speak. Tried initially to chat but soon sat here plum like. I never mind DH catching up with mates just kinda wish they were doing this somewhere else so I can get on with stuff, least feel less awkward but wouldn't look good if I sodded off...any suggestions?! Or AIBU??

Just leave them to it. Why wouldn't it look good if you added off? They are your DHs friends not yours

Absolutely agree, go and have some I time for you. Half the time my DH and my sons are talking it's another language of football, rugby, cars and such like so I go for a bath and leave them to it. (Disclaimer there are also times we talk dancing, clothes, feelings, friendships etc when I am involved but there are only so many discussions about the best premier league team or new Mercedes I am interested in!)

Think it's feeling like a part host....good points though thanks guys I have subsequently disappeared off to bed. Although we had plans to make an early start for tomorrow but as they've now just gone out that's looking unlikely!

It's nice to relax in your own language with friends. No sense you hanging around.

Absolutely leave them to it. I leave dh and his friends to it and we all speak the same laguage.

They've gone and it's 9pm, why would you not think you'd still be able to have an early start tomorrow?
