To duct tape clothes onto my son

He's two, and has decided clothes are far too mainstream. It's also coincided with figuring out how to take his clothes off. He hasn't gone out in three days because he just won't stay dressed. Luckily we haven't had anything urgent to do and he's been perfectly happy running free in the garden but we do have to go out at some point. Any tips for getting this boy to stay decent? 😂

I hate to tell you this but I have a 16yo who still thinks that clothes are purely optional in the house, at least now he keeps his pant on. 🙈

I love my (3) little nudists! I find making it clear they can be as naked as they like at home but they must be properly dressed out and about works well. Children are pretty good at grasping that sort of rule, IME.

Clothes are optional in the house, but non negotiable when we go out. And she can choose from options I give her, so atleast they are weather appropriate.

Pick your battles. Naked kids are adorable. I also prefer to be as undressed as possible when at home. Clothes just feel so claustrophobic!

My DD is 5 and always strips off as soon as we get home, even in the depths of winter, but she knows to keep her clothes on when out of the house

She's also murder for taking her shoes and socks off nearly everywhere we go!

If you do need to go out then what about taking him to the disney store/dressing up shop or look online and get him to choose a dress up outfit - eg. Spiderman or his favourite disney character. Might encourage him to stay dressed whilst out and about but if hes indoors then it's not an issue for him to be comfortable x
