To ask you to guess who make what?

We are having friends over for dinner tomorrow so a cheesecake has been made in our house.

We also have DD2's best friend staying with us for two days so a suggestion was made (by DP or me) to make Tracy Island out of mashed potato dyed green with Turkey Thunderbirds and peas.

These are the results. One of them has caused much hilarity among our friends.

If it's helpful and to give you a hint, DP is the one who doctored my oven glove by using a pen to put eye patches on all the cats on it. DP is also the one who sits on the floor in supermarket to watch TV if Frozen is on and sings along. He is 59 this month

Who is your DP (partner? parent?). I do not want to be unkind and apologise if I have misunderstood, but if he/she is 59 years old, he/she sounds remarkably strange.

Haha, yes he is my DP and he is 59 in a few weeks. He was in the Royal Navy if that helps explain the completely mad sense of humour!

Life has been hard for a few years, we tend to find amusement where we can, it makes life easier to bear. Even if it is just making a smiley face on top of a coffee or making things out of mashed potato!!

I could write a book about dp's antics. He's basically a big kid. Although one that can hold down a job, pay bills and do the ironing as well.

Apparently you can either grow up or join the navy. You can't do both. All his mates are the same.
