Currently at a walk in centre as I've got a ear infection (been given spray antibiotics) and I am also having palpitations, they done a heart trace which showed I have anirregula heart beat.

They have said I need to go to my GP for this...

My Dad had heart issues and he died age 42, my mum had a triple byboass last year, I came off the contraceptives pill 4 months ago and my feet are icy cold. Earlier today I experience flutters than thumbing with shoulder blade aches.

The doctor took all this info and said it needed to be investigated but he said it was not an emergency treatment case.

AIBU to worry about this? Do I need to get a second opinion?

Book in to see your gp. Try not to worry in the meantime. Arrhythmia can have many causes. Push your surgery for the earliest possible appointment.

An infection can cause tachycardia and arrhythmia. Book in with your GP just to put your mind at rest.
