To let a 4 year old watch the empire strikes back?

Stuck in with a sick baby so we're having a movie afternoon. I want to watch this (and to my surprise it's ranked U!) but is it too much? He watched the first one and loved it although it mostly went over his head. But he talked about it to his nursery workers and paranoid they were judging me as a bad mother....

It's fine. Both my DS watched it at 4.
The only one DS2 (7) hasn't seen is Revenge of the Sith which is a 12. His choice. DS1 watched it with us when he was about 5 and was completely unfazed by it. DS2 is a more sensitive soul and has said he doesn't want to watch it yet, but has seen all the others on endless repeat.

My 4yo DD loves all star Wars films and has never been scared of them. YANBU.

It's fine - it's U for a reason! And they do do seem to get the concept of evil versus good, even if the finer points of the story go over their head at that age!
