To ask what you do on Easter Sunday?

Just that really. I do an egg hunt with the kids then I'm not sure what to do for the rest of the day, so wondering what everyone else does. Out for family lunch? Day out somewhere??

Egg hunt, Church, gardening and play in garden if weather's good, kids movie if not, roast dinner. Don't go out except maybe park, too packed.

Usually friends or family round for roast lunch or dinner, egg hunt etc. Other than that nothing else special really. I don't feel like we dedicate the whole day to it being Easter in the same way we do at Christmas.

actually i hae no idea when easter is so whatever i do on a normal sunday

We go away for Easter Weekend, usually the Lake District.

When DS was younger we used to do an Egg Hunt - but now it's really like any other Sunday - Church, try not to eat and drink too much, encourage teenage DS to study for his GCSEs, maybe go for a walk, chores and catch up on some TV - pretty boring really .

On Easter Sunday?

Normally we get together with family in the afternoon, Easter egg hunt for the little ones on the garden. All fairly low key though. I like Easter not to be a big deal like Christmas, it's just a chance to relax and eat chocolate

Egg hunt and BBQ

Church, egg hunt, family lunch at my parents, pop over to see the inlaws.
Depending on the weather we may go for a walk in the park / woods / beach.
Family are all within 3 miles, nearest beach is 5 miles, woods 5 min walk down the road, we don't need to go far!

Egg hunt, Family dinner, (if it's nice we are hoping to do a family BBQ) have lots of friends around etc...

Church, roast lamb, simnel cake, extended family. Eggs.

Going to my dad's house as are the extended family. Someone is organising an egg hunt for the younger children, while I suspect the older ones will cocoon themselves away from the adults somewhere with their phones and tablets.

My dad will cook, he's an excellent cook and this year I think he's doing a turkey in his big green egg (kind of smoker come outdoor oven). The adults who aren't driving will drink too much, everyone will eat too much and the kids will run rampant on a sugar high until they crash in tears and get settled down in front of a movie.

Working! I get to cook 100 Easter lunches for mostly lovely customers while my DH and DC spend the day at home. Hey ho.

We go away with friends and the children/partners. Copenhagen this year. We do egg hunt first thing (set up night before to give adults a lie in. It used to be Centre Parcs so little ones bombed around between two villas).Church wherever we are. Big meal wherever we are.

We go to MIL. She does a big roast and an egg hunt round her garden. We're staying for a couple of nights this year so me and DH can have a night out and so we can all have a day out with BIL on the Monday too.

Easter isn't a big thing at ours. By coincidence we have FIL coming to visit so I'll cook a Sunday roast (probably chicken as he doesn't eat pork and I refuse to eat lamb). Probably will have a cake, as my partner and his dad aren't big chocolate eaters, and I'm trying to keep my snacking to a minimum at the moment. Our child is too young to know about Easter egg hunts, so at least that nightmare can wait another year!

We go to to church and we have a scavenger hunt for chocolate eggs. What else dependant on where we are - this year we are away doing our hobby so will fit in the above around that.

I'm not in the UK. DH will be at work, Kids have first day back at school following spring break. So i guess i will be home alone. I made hot cross buns and Easter eggs last year, but think i might pass this year. They were a pain to make. Maybe rice Krispie cake nests, with some mini eggs, if they get through customs this year.

If left to our own devices a normal family Sunday (country walk, park, swimming, museum or whatever) but with added chocolate.

This year, however, we've been invited round to DCs school pal's house for egg hunt and the works.

Usually work an unreasonable 9 hour shift.

We'll be at my mum's in Germany this year.
We do an egg hunt for the children in the garden, the neighbour's girl will join (I got gluten-free chocolate for her), I'll help mum with preparing lunch (she is an amazing cook and baker), my brother will be there as well and we'll compare what was added to our kindles since we saw each other last time, my sil (other brother's wife) will make sarky remarks all throughout lunch (or not talk at all while having a sneer on her face, depends on her mood that day), then we'll go for a walk, after that it's time for coffee&cake and my cousins will pop in and hopefully some other friends who are home for Easter who will have heard from their parents that I'm home. It will move on from coffee to wine and beer and end late at night. It's going to be great even the weather forecast looks good.
