To want help with an Udden extractor fan?

I wish Ikea stuff would just work.
Do you know the secret for getting the filter to sit properly in the udden extraction fan?
There is only one screw to hold the fucker in place. I am going insane.
Please help.

Thanks. We found where to fasten it in the end. It looked nothing like the picture and there were a few red herrings withbicons on the motor cover.
It was an adventure to be sure.
