AIBU to be this happy about eyeliner?

I'm 32 and blind in one eye so have never been able to wear eyeliner on my upper eyelid because I can't see when I close my 'good eye'.

I have finally found an eyeliner that I can use and taught myself to do it. I am more excited about this than I suspect an adult, professional woman should be!

I got stupidly excited yesterday, because I finally managed to open a pack of 'easy open' ham, without stabbing the bastard packaging to death with a steak knife

Yanbu, I get like this over a lot of things enjoy your easy eyeliner, I am still trying to master liquid eyeliner, I have recently got one from the body shop that is like a pen tip so hopefully it will make applying it easier

I'm taking the consensus and calling it quits! Mine is like a very thin felt tip from Maybelline. I'm just chuffed because it was one of those things I couldn't do due to my eyesight. Thanks!

Congratulations. I have sight in both eyes and find eye liner ridiculously challenging. I also give myself a mental high five when I start the toilet paper off neatly so I do think your achievements should be applauded.
