To tell you that London isn't broken?

Following on from Katie Hatekin's 'article' about Londoners all being cowed with fear. This is Westminster bridge 3 days after the terrorist attack. Nobody looks remotely worried let alone cowed with fear.

Well Rentagob isn't known for being truthful, just ask Jack.

Well, London is broken, just not because of Terrorism.

Housing, is probably the number one issue. Pollution. The cost of a gin and tonic in a pub being close to a weeks wages.

I work in Westminster and even on the day everyone was continuing their days as normal. You can't be afraid - it's not a frequent occurrence.

YABabitU because we know London isn't broken, and we also know that KH is a bit of a stirring wally!

Gowgirl · 25/03/2017 12:56

Pollutions not a problem as long as you don't grow your own veg, and I buy my gin in sainsburies Grin nothing broke here!

WorraLiberty · 25/03/2017 12:58

Oh I'm so glad you told us this OP Grin

I'm not sure anyone needs telling though do they? I mean, has it ever looked broken to you in the past after a terrorist attack? Confused

ForalltheSaints · 25/03/2017 13:02

I work near the Houses of Parliament and echo the comments about everyone going about their business as normal. Terrorist attacks have not broken London or those who live and/or work there.

user1476961324 · 25/03/2017 13:03

Pollution is a problem if you breathe!

glitterglitters · 25/03/2017 13:05

I was in London on the 7/7 attack and the general condense I felt from Londoners was one of obviously somber upset but also slight annoyance that it caused a few Prês to be closed. They're resilient in the capital ☺️ no silly terrorists going to keep them down. I love London

glitterglitters · 25/03/2017 13:05

Consensus* even

Gowgirl · 25/03/2017 13:07

If its a choice between breathing pollution and moving out I know what I would choose usereandomno.

floraeasy · 25/03/2017 13:22

It was a terrible thing to happen, but London has been through everything from the Great Fire, to the Blitz, the 1970s IRA attacks and lots more.

London and its inhabitants are a tough bunch and not easily cowed.

Megatherium · 25/03/2017 13:25

This article is a very healthy antidote to that idiot Hopkins' nonsense about London.
