I am on a national express coach. I'd rather not be, but it's the only way we can get to DPs DM without spending £80+
When we got to the coach (20 mins early) there was a queue in front of us. Annoying. Get to the coach, no banks of two left. Yes, our fault, should have got there earlier, I'll get over not sitting next to my fiancé for four hours
Coach sets off, I open my inoffensive boots meal deal (sandwich and crisps for those asking). It's a 7.30 coach, I was at work until 6.30 (hence the lateness!)
Woman next to me asks me not to eat my sandwich. I point out that it's not hot, doesn't smell, isn't terribly offensive. She says it's due to her travel sickness. I then offer to let her swap with OH if she doesn't want to sit next me having dinner - but she says she needs to sit next the window so as to not get travel sick.
I completely understand there are a multitude of very good reasons why she might be nauseous. And maybe I'm being harsh because I'd like to sit next to DP. But really - if you are so affected by travel sickness that you can't sit away from the window, and can't deal with someone (at dinner time) eating a chicken salad sandwich, should you travel by coach?
I am fully aware there's a chance I'm BU, hence the offering to the vipers. If I get ratty I promise it's just the fact I can't eat any food until 11 on account of the lady sitting next to me. And being on a coach
