To HATE the term "sex toy"?

The word "toy" just doesn't belong!

It's not a toy!

A toy is a child's plaything!

I know I am probably being a but U but it grosses me out. Why can't people just say

"vibrator" or "cock ring" or whatever.

Yes, sex aides, or relationship aides or something like that.

JonesyAndTheSalad · 14/03/2017 13:12

Stampy yes. Cum Maker is preferable, Grin

It sounds so bloody coy! "Oooh he saw my sex toys!"

Call it what it is! A big, fat dildo!

Sex gadget? Or how about sex contraption?

"Marital aids" and "relationship aids" suggest these items only have a place in a 'proper' relationship. Like when they used to only give the pill to married women. Anything less than married was simply, well, you shouldn't be doing it should you?

Also I don't really spend time with people who talk about sex toys out loud so I guess I've never thought about the terminology.

safeea · 14/03/2017 13:35

I've seen people use 'toys' alone online, that's worse.
