Yes I am upset, I've watched it from the very beginning (8 years ago). So it does feel sad that there won't be a new one in October!

It'll be strange without it starting every October. Ah well, there's always The Originals. I was gutted about True Blood too and may actually cry when Supernatural ends.

It ran out of steam about 5 series ago for me.

I stopped watching around the time what's her face became a vampire. I was just really bored.

TVD had some of the most wasted hours in S7 and this season. I will admit the ending was fitting and quite timely for Buffy the Vampire Slayer's 20th anniversary.

Supernatural will never end at this rate. Not until the two main guys pack it in and they have too much fun (and why pack it in when it's a steady job).

I get more disappointed when shows are just cancelled. They end with cliffhangers and I want to know what the plans were (like Witches of East End)

Ooh a TVD thread. I just watched it and sobbed my heart out.

The last 3 seasons were utter utter tosh. Even on its heyday it was trashy tv but fun and light and exciting.

However I still watched it as I am a fan of trash. Gave up on quite a few episodes the last few seasons though and just skipped to the end!

Even then the finale choked me up. Stefan! Delena! Caroline and Klaus??!

The last scene was beautiful. It was always about the brothers.

I did find it really odd that not a single word was exchanged between Damon and Elena. Bizarre. But that's what being exes does I guess.

I still loved it all!

It will never match Buffy for writing, depth or character development though. Buffy rules.

I've never seen it and if I had, no I wouldn't be devastated. I would reserve being devastated for being told I had cancer or someone close to me had died, not that a tv programme had ended
