Why does it have to be such a bellend?

I'm sure it laughs at me. With its sneery little sneer, sticking to everyfuckingthing except where I want it to.

Fucking hate the stuff.

I won't give it the time of day.

It's been years now. Never missed the clingy little shit once.

MusicToMyEars800 · 08/03/2017 22:44

you go glen coco Grin I love that film Grin... I hate cling film too! it never does what I want it to do.

Grenoble124 · 08/03/2017 22:45

Tin foil all the way!

Trb17 · 08/03/2017 22:47

Clingfilm sucks. Just not to the surface you want it to. Fuck clingfilm AngryGrin

Percephone · 08/03/2017 22:47

Hate the fucking stuff. It can fuck right off.

elephantoverthehill · 08/03/2017 22:48

Use greaseproof paper, so much more Nigel, so retro, or brown paper bags. If it is go in the fridge, a plate or upturned bowl will suffice.

DJBaggySmalls · 08/03/2017 22:48

I use it for wrapping items to post. This denies the cling film its real purpose in life and that is just revenge.

Applebite · 08/03/2017 22:50

See also sellotape. The smug, sticky little twat.

skankingpiglet · 08/03/2017 23:01

I hate it too. I've seen some sort of reusable stretchy universal lids that remove the need for Clingfilm advertised, which I'm hoping will be the answer to all my problems. I just can't remember what the bloody things were called!

Isitjustmeorisiteveryoneelse · 08/03/2017 23:03

I've shunned it for years now, gone NC if you will. That'll learn it.

This:

Cannot recommend it enough Wink

HeadFullofSteam · 08/03/2017 23:10

I further hate it by dint of the fact that Nigella calls it "cling".

Imissmy0ldusername · 08/03/2017 23:14

Lakeland also do perforated cling film. It has utterly transformed my life. I was first introduced to such clingy wonderfullness when I was wrapping bloody aeroplane food at high speed. Muggle cling film would not have sufficed. When I discovered that Lakeland also made such stuff, I never went back :)

Well, she would, wouldn't she?

That dispenser's nowt more than a Trojan horse, bringing 'cling' back in to where it's not welcome.
