To think my not quite 6 month old

Was just in a bad mood earlier?!

DS is super chilled. 24 weeks old. We'd had a lovely morning.

He wasn't hungry, in pain, wet, bored ("we" were singing and playing "games"), too hot, too cold or obviously over tired.

He was just bloody- uncharacteristically grumpy. Grumbling. Shouting at me. "Fake" crying (you know, the half hearted whinge that turns into a laugh dead easily. I know it's not really "fake").

Do babies this young have random bad moods like grown ups do? Or am I missing a mummy trick?

My DD at 3 months old woke up from every nap in a foul mood. Until she'd come round properly she hated everyone and everything. This went on until she was about 2! Clearly not a morning baby so I firmly believe in baby moods. Good luck Smile

Could it be teething? My DD turned into a grumpy and whiny little human when her first 2 teeth came out.
