Turn it upside down - and then blow air into it with a hairdryer on the cool setting. I fixed my laptop like this the other day after somebody spilt coffee on it and it had appeard to be totally dead for a while.

its nt still wet, thugh. incident happened n thursday night but has nly just been cnfessed. i think it must have killed its nerve endings in the letter between i and p and number between 8 and 0 department smehw.

i think i'm ging t have t get in tuch with my inner geek and take it apart.

If you really want to keep the keyboard then the thing to do is wash it under the cold tap in the bath (or shower). This gets rid of all the gunk that's stopping the keys working. Dry off with a towel as much as you can, then leave in the airing cupboard for a week to fully dry out.
Alternatively, just buy a new one. From under a tenner .
