to expect Currys online to deliver my washing machine on the day they say they will?

Or at least not to wait until the day before to change their minds?

Washing machine broke last Friday. When DH got home from work we decided it wasn't worth repairing. Went online Friday evening and found one we wanted. Cheapest option was Currys online who could deliver Thursday but we wouldn't get a specified slot until nearer the time so DH arranges to wokr at home. Wednesday afternoon they ring to say that it will come between 11 and 2. Then ring again and say they will not be coming until Sunday but it could be anytime on Sunday. But by Wednesday we can't get anyone else to deliver until into next week so we are held hostage. And my dirty laundry pile reaches the window sill.

Frustrating isn't it, I had a similar experience with comet, paid a little extra for the same machine as they could deliver it a few days sooner than curry's, day came and went, phone call saying oh yes it will be there tomorrow it missed the truck, another day waiting, and it finally turned up the same day as I could have got it from Curries.

i'd take my dirty washing into currys on a busy saturday afternoon and demand your washing machine

dmo. Apparently it hasn't arrived from the main warehouse to the depot. But really they should go and get it.
