The perils of maternity leave Tv-bingeing

I thought the point was to make a profit with the stuff they buy? They get ever so excited if they make a loss of only £10. And I really don't rate the 'experts' who advise the contestants to spend £60 on something that goes on to sell for £15 and act all surprised it hasn't made more.

I still love it though, although I miss David Dickinson and I quite fancy the young auctioneer bloke with the specs

I'm with you on this. I'll also mention those property ones (Is it Location, Location, Location?) where they are shown 3 houses that perfectly meet their requirements and then they don't buy any of them.

They do it the wrong way round. They should buy at auction and sell at fairs.

wickerlampshade · 20/02/2017 13:36

yes - they are buying retail and selling wholesale. bound to end in tears.

They are doing it the wrong way round and therefore rarely make any money at all. The winner is usually the pair who lose the least, hence the excitement.
