To want a breast reduction and be planning for it already?

I'm a 32GG and in the early stages of pregnancy so the likelihood is they're only going to get bigger. I hate them. I hate the shoulder pain. I hate the price of bras. I hate that they're in the way all the bloody time. I hate the comments I get. I generally just hate them.

So I'm putting money aside for a reduction aibu to be thinking about and looking forward to something that won't happen for at least a year if not more?

I'm the same size as you, although they did get bigger during pregnancy and breastfeeding, they've gone back to the same size as they were before pregnancy now that my daughter has weaned (just to reassure you that you may not end up with epic j cups, that was a worry for me!). I don't think it's unreasonable for you to save up for a reduction if they're causing you so many issues. It's not something I want personally, but luckily I don't have any back pain etc. I assume you have been properly measured somewhere that specialises in larger sizes, e.g. Bravissimo? It made a huge difference to me. Also bear in mind that a breast reduction can make breastfeeding harder or impossible, so depending on your preferences you may want to wait until your family is complete before having an op.

I have the opposite problem, I'm very small and after 2 x pregnancies the small ones I've got have sagged and look awful imo.

I was a 32G pre-pregnancy. They got bigger during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Now my daughter is 10 months old and I stopped breastfeeding at 6 months, my boobs are now a teeny tiny 32DD. You never know what you'll end up with

If you have good reason you can get it done on the NHS. A friend of mine did for many if the same reasons

That's why I haven't even thought of it. I would probably qualify to have all the cysts removed as I periodically end up with mastitis when they spontaneously get infected. But on the nhs I'd imagine the results won't exactly be aesthetically pleasing.

Of course yanbu. This isn't a decision you jump into. It takes months and months of planning and saving. I don't blame you.

I've been planning it since my first pregnancy five years ago. Now that I know there will be no more babies and I am back to my pre-pregnancy weight but still with enormous boobs, I am getting rid of them once and for all. Operation scheduled for two weeks time. I did try NHS but despite a 28hh size and terrible shoulder indents, they declined. Have saved £6000 to go private and although nervous, I can't wait to be free of them. Would recommend looking at Realself for great advice / forums about this.

My 34G are now a 30-32DD-E (varies between brands) after some weight loss.

Get this pregnancy and whatever BFing you might want to do behind you, research your surgeon well, be aware that breast reduction is much bigger surgery than augmentation and plan for the long recover - and then go for it .
If you've got weight to lose, do that first (once you've had the baby, obviously).

I don't think you're unreasonable at all. I quite like my 32hhs now but they're really painful pre-period and they're going to get awfully saggy at some point and they do get in the bloody way a lot. I don't have plans to but if ever they were making me feel like you are feeling I'd have no qualms about reduction.
