There was no trial. He took everything that was coming to him. He is remorseful about what happened. He's done his time and has been clean for 9 years.

He was/is a friend of my uncle who was in the music industry particularly around this period of time. He came to our family home quite a few times. There was a documentary/dramatisation a few years back about that period and my uncle had a part and someone playing him.

Not much contact for me since but my uncle is still in touch.

He is a genuinely lovely and very warm, funny man. Very sincere and easy to talk to.
