To ask if people can have both eupd and asd

Dd 21 currently Inpaient for her eating disorder. She's diagnosed with asd but they are now saying eupd may be possible. I'm not sure due to the overlap of the two disorders

The short answer is I don't know. Having said that both ads and eupd are pretty broad diagnoses, so I can see no reason that you couldn't have both. Disentangling the two might be quite difficult though, I think you'd need someone experienced in both conditions to diagnose.

Plan at the moment is for her to see the pysch in her community team when she's discharged. I don't know if I should look into something private maybe?
