Am I right in thinking aibu is ten years old? If so was this widely celebrated?

I don't recall this being on BBC or Sky news. I am being unreasonable in thinking something which has solved so many problems and brought joy to so many people for ten years deserves national celebration and possibly a new bank holiday?
