To expect dp to get his priorities right?

I'm so mad because a job has come up very similar to dps with more that double the salery and a company car (ours is broken atm) and he has known about it for 2 weeks all he has to do is wirte his cv onto the computer, he keeps saying i will do it tomorrow or later i just want to play poker first or go on the playstation. We struggle to pay the bills and the morgatge im saving like crazy so ds can go to a good school we don't have any money for ourselfs, we always have to ask my mum to buy us food at the end of the month because were skint. DP is always saying he hates his current job but he just can't be bothered to do anything about it GRRRRRRRR rant over

I fear the job will have gone to someone who sent their CV straight away.

Sometimes being ina job you hate makes you feel worthless and it can make it feel like you're not good enough for another job...perhaps he needs a confidence boost of some sort?

If he's just lazy could you not bring his CV up to date and send it to a few specialist agencies?

Never rely on men for money and never give up full time work.

Could you not type the CV for him anyway?

not unreasonable. he's a grown man. he should take responsibility and get his priorities right.
