Banner headline for Daily Fail today -Beyonce 'Bump bragging is so boring' by Sara Vine.
The same Daily Fail which has carried pictures of Demi Moore and countless other female celebrities " proudly" pausing with their naked bumps.
I just don't get why pick on Beyonce.? What sets her apart from the other women ?

I think the world has changed a lot and maybe Sarah Vine hasn't kept up. Celebrities / everyone is being judged by out dated statements for what is normal/ acceptable for women; and wider social media. It's a shame but at least it provokes discussion...and maybe opens her eyes a little

The brief for most of the female columnists on the Fail is to articulate the shabby, mean thoughts people have about other women but don't really want to speak out loud for fear of being thought shabby and mean. Then both clickbait bases are covered - people gleefully agreeing with a depressingly bitchy opinion that's now been validated, and other people squawking in outrage.

She's a twat but right on this one inmho. It is bloody boring. It's all too much , look at me me me me and I think a lot of people are simply fed up with all the nonsense her and the Kardashians constantly create.

My DD loves loves loves Beyoncé and tbf she was very entertaining at Glastonbury. On the other hand, the Kardassians do absolutely nothing except be famous for being famous, so it's an unfair comparison IMHO.

I think the whole point is to be contentious, because that's what gets people clicking and talking about it,,,this thread is the evidence of that.

On Sarah vine herself, I actually used to really like her writing, but the brexit nonsense and her arrogant thoughts about her and her husband being responsible for the will of the British people and her huge responsibility really appalled me. That and the leaked emails made it look like she was behind at least some of the maneouvering. What occurred was so bad it pretty much cost gove his career it was that ill thought out and totally trashed both their reputations. Boris totally out played them by pulling out and I'm actually surprised they didn't see the end game coming.

As such, I don't really read her articles anymore, and if I do, it's usually with dismay and not the sense of open mind i once had.😞

On the 25th of June 2016, I bet you Sara Vine was planning on what she would wear to BP - accompanying darling Michael to HM to formalise matters to do with forming a new government.

Please don't insult me! Why you think the Daily Fail is a favourite of mine baffles me- for a start you really don't know me AT ALL.
Just to make my point; I have not even READ Vine's article- the banner is there for all to see, if, like me, you glance at Newspaper headlines in Supermarkets or Gas stations.

I'm not a fan of either Sarah Vine or the Mail, but if I want to discuss something the least I can do is read it.

She's known as 'Sarah Vain' in Private Eye - the strapline to their piss-taking articles is 'It's all about ME!'

I do wonder if, when she was a kid, and planning for a future career as a journalist, whether writing spiteful articles about other women was what she aspired to. It's a pretty demoralising way to make a living, if you ask me.
