I really don't see why my taxes should be spent on supporting a state visit (not as if the Queen is going to fork out on the costs of security etc for Donald's trip to the palace and royal golf course which he'll inevitable get)! Sure, we should suffer his presence in capacity of President, and he should meet the PM and other ministers, but why should we support the extra pomp and ceremony? Why do world leaders need to see the Queen, and if they really must why should we (the general taxpayers) foot the bill?
