to think Gremlins is different to a monkey suit??

My exH thinks it is OK to show our 3 and 6 year olds Gremlins, even though they have both told me they are scared of it. He says our 3 old is scared of the person in the monkey suit at the local soft play (he is), so whats the difference? Gah! How to reason with this?!

Gremlins was a 15 until 2012, when it was reclassified as a 12A.

Tbh, I'd judge that my 4yo would really, really enjoy Gremlins and find it funny rather than scary. But he won't be watching for many, many years because of the Santa reveal. Would your ex-husband be swayed by that argument?

The key point here is that the children don't want to watch it.
