To have done absolutely nothing today?

I feel a bit bad for DS (3) who has been playing and watching TV all day, but after a mammoth tantrum trying to get him dressed for the park this morning, and his refusal to go to the shops (which he usually loves) I gave up and I've been trying to stay out of his way and veg out on the sofa doing nowt.

I'm also knackered as he isn't sleeping properly and won't let DH deal with him right now, it's all 'mummy mummy mummy' so I really can't be arsed.

Tomorrow will be fun packed (well, busy anyway) so just want to chill today.

AIBU to let DS rot his brain all day? He has been playing fairly nicely even if the other room looks like a bomb site but he is probably really bored and I can't even be arsed to play with him!

We don't often have days with absolutely no plans and to be fair and I do struggle to just do nothing without feeling guilty, but if we didn't have DS I'd be properly stretched out under a blanket watching crappy films!

We haven't done anything today either. DD has played with her toys, watched 2 films and is currently playing on the laptop. I doubt I will be arsed to cook so it will probably be chip shop tea. The weather is shite so I feel no shame in having a lazy day.

At least your kids are doing something they want to. I've made DS1 and DS2 cut my nails and rub my feet...

Slightly justified in that we were at an event last night til gone midnight, so we're having a lazy day today.
