Well two things really, firstly that if you've been employed somewhere for less than 2 years you have no rights and secondly that you can't pursue a grievance if you've already resigned?

You have no right to claim unfair dismissa luntil you've been employed for two years. But lots of rights, such as those relating to discrimination and your contractual rights, will apply.

They can't dismiss you for discriminatory reasons however long you've been employed.

Rights are very limited. As long as there isn't anything with an "ism" at the end involved (sexism, racism you get the drift!) then they can pretty much get rid of you for anything....... for example they don't like your dress sense
