My son (12) is very keen to buy his girlfriend ring - but I am uncomfortable about the transaction, and cannot find enough online about the company to reassure me. Does anyone have any experience with them, positive or negative, that might help us make a decision?

I always check trustpilot if unsure and they have a 9/10 record with them.

RJnomore1 · 09/01/2017 17:36

No they don't! Ignore me it's another company they aren't on there Blush too many lemsip s

No experience, but they use PayPal. I'm usually quite trusting of sites using PayPal as it is quite secure and easy to get money back if they do mess you around. Nice ring.

multivac · 09/01/2017 17:40

Thanks - I do think it's adorable that he wants to get it for her; but even with the discount, that's a lot of money for a 12-year-old!

Hmmm. On closer investigation, they are only available in teenytiny sizes (which might explain why they are half price, I guess!)

Back to the drawing board...

There's no address or phone number that I can see, I wouldn't buy from them without that.

multivac · 09/01/2017 17:44

That bothered me, too, Indigo :-/

Update: we took the risk, ordered the ring, and it has arrived in good time and as described on the website. Thought I owed it to the site owners to report back!

PS - now we just have to hope that it impresses the girlfriend (and fits - it's bigger than we were expecting...)

I would never buy from there for the sole reason that the brand name makes me want to rip my own skin off!

multivac · 19/01/2017 13:46

Aww, I think it's quite sweet....

InspMorse · 25/11/2017 12:16

Glad it got to you but as a Mum of teenagers, I would find a ring gift a bit Hmm at 12! Sorry to be a misery!

InspMorse · 25/11/2017 12:17

Canadagma · 15/12/2017 10:03

Purchased a Glow In The Dark Gengar Fleece Jacket from them in December 2019 and using the measurements on their site I went to get a medium for myself. When the garment arrived I found that it barely fit me.
Measured the sleeves and length of the piece to make sure I had been given the right size and all the measurements were off by 5cm. The site measurements says "measurements might be off by 1-3cm due to hand measurement".

Photos of me taking the measurements were then sent TWICE because apparently the first set of photos werent clear enough.

After 6 days of back and forth emails they eventually agreed to sending me a replacement garment to which they would give me a tracking number for it.

ELEVEN days later I had to email them asking for said tracking number. By the time I got it it was nearly February.
