AIBU to think DC3 may come on time?

Sorry i am mainly posting here for traffic volume! I keep getting my hopes up as I'm so desperate for labour to start spontaneously soon! I really want to hear if anyone else has been in a similar situation.

My first two children were induced 14 days overdue and 10 days overdue. Cervix was never favourable with them and they didnt engage until labour.

I'm currently 38+4 and the past couple of weeks I've felt pains on what I presume is my cervix when the baby moves, can't remember this happening the other two times. I've also had a few tightenings when out and about the past few days. I'm really trying not to get my hopes up. Just wondered if anyone else had been induced a couple of times then had spontaneous labour with subsequent children? I have a sweep on Friday so guess I will know more after that.

My first was 10 days overdue and I had to be induced. Second was 2 weeks early, and although I did have a second c section, I did go into labour naturally. Good luck.

I was exactly 2 weeks late with both first two. One induced, one arrived couple of hours before induction due to start. Third child arrived 1 day late and labour completely different from the others. You honestly can't tell these things and I was really thrown at the time as I just figured I had another 2 weeks to go so wasn't ready for this one!

Mine were 41 wks, 41+3, 40+3 and 38+4.

After slow labour for aaaagggeeees that kept stopping with the last DC I self induced/got things going by using an electric breastpump.
It worked a treat.

They might but then again they might not! My four were born at:

40+0
42+2
40+3
41+2

And I tried everything going to bring on labour including the breast pump!

My first two were a week late but third was 3 days early! Good luck OP!

I had 4DC they were all late!!! It's just unpredictable with babies isn't it!

They should all be made with a timer that lets them know when their 40 weeks is up! 😂

DD1 was 10 days late, induced, DS was 7 days late, spontaneous and DD2 came bang on time so there is hope!

First was induced at 41.5w

Second came naturally at 41w

Third came naturally at 39.2w

However the first two were three hour labours and the last took all bloody night.

1st 41+3 induced
2nd 41+6 waters broke then induced
3rd 42+1 went to be induced but Labour started naturally when arrived
4th 41+4
I then had twin girls planned csec at 37+6 I'm glad I wasn't left to go natural with them I dread to think haha good luck

My first was born 9 days after the original due date
My second - I was induced 11 days after due date
My third came a day early and very quickly

Remember the human pregnancy is between 37 and 42 weeks so going over 40 doesn't make you overdue. DDiL went to 42 and had to be induced but he is the he most gorgeous baby and worth the extra few days

Frustrating isn't it, I hated not knowing when.

DC1 - 1 week early
DC2 - 2 weeks early
DC3 - wanted it out and nothing was happening, went for acupuncture, DC3 turned up that evening (day before due date)

As the other 2 were early I was utterly fed up by DC3 making no signs of showing up. I did the raspberry leaf tablets/tea bags and pineapples with all of them, no idea if that made any difference.

The acupuncture was amazing, literally within 1 hour of the appointment I was getting twitches down below, actual labour was just 45 minutes ! :)

First was bang on 39 weeks. Second was bang on 41 weeks and third was due date. You never ever know.

Just had some awful pains, got my hopes up....stopped now! Hopefully things are ramping up to make my cervix nice and favourable for my sweep on Friday!

My first 3 were all late: 41+4, 41+1 and 40+6
My 4th was early at 37+3, ended in emergency c section
My 5th pregnancy (twins) was an elective c section at 37 weeks so I never went into labour
