Out of date stuffing?

It is dated July 2015!

I REALLY fancy having stuffing with the chicken.

Would you risk it? It's sage and onion and I can't see how any of the ingredients would go off off, it just might have lost some flavour?

Whaddya reckon?

It will be fine. A bit stale but it won't poison you

Namejustfornappies · 07/01/2017 17:19

Is it a best before or use by?

Watto1 · 07/01/2017 17:19

Is it a best before date rather than a use by date? If so, I'd eat it. Like you say, the flavour may have deteriorated but I'm sure it'll be safe.

It will be absolutely fine. Use a chicken stock cube to make it, add salt pepper and a bit of butter.

It's best before! Excellent news.

Yeah it won't do you any harm. With it all being freeze dried herbs and cereal you should be OK I think. Just make sure to make it with butter, salt and pepper and you probably won't notice a difference in taste.

I always add a bit of chopped onion, grated apple and a handful of sunflower seeds to mine - out of date or not- and it's always Yum!
