To use mould remover on damaged painted wood

And if so what should i use instead??

Our wooden windows, which are due to be replaced or at least refurbished in the next 6 months, have black mould in the inside. The paintwork is damaged and the mould and mildew remover explicitly states not to use on damaged paintwork.

Please tell me what to do!

(Sorry for the massively dull aibu)

Haha a little dull but I faced this problem in my old flat, I only left it on a fairly short while, I can't remember exactly how long but around 20 Minutes, it didn't damage wood further and I sanded and repainted afterwards it looked great. Not worth that though If they're being replaced

Thank you Jelly!

Yes, that is the conclusion I came to - no more mould!

Neat bleach is the most effective thing for mould in my considerable experience.
