she hasn't 'passed' she has died. There is already a thread about her.

So young and such a sad loss for her family. She did so much in her life (and in her death, it seems, from the organ donations) and her work is an amazing legacy.

I'm not sure she would necessarily have wanted more recognition-she didn't seem the type to need or set much store by gongs, or attention.
We all owe her massive thanks for the changes she helped to bring about.

It was the second item on the BBC news at 6pm. I too am of an age where I remember this happening. What she did to change perceptions was remarkable. I see the Daily Mail are bleating about her lack of an honour in order to sell their paper today.
