Sorry, real rant here. As it is, this stupid computer takes, seriously, about 12 minutes from switch on to being able to actually READ my email once it's gone through 25 anti-virus, anti-trojan, anti-whoop-di-doo programs. Then- lo! Completely unrecognisable mail program! IF I should be lucky enough to be able to ACCESS my mail or the www, every click requires a 2 minute wait to actually work as - hey! what's this? Oh, DH has set up a massive download before gaily setting off to work! Note he never has them running in the background whilst HE'S surfing the net! I get a couple of hours a week to do this- and am CONSTANTLY interrupted by DSs, being half term an' all, but AM I BEING UNREASONABLE in expecting to be able to get online, unhindered and unslowed??!

No, i have the same probelm.

DH had a second internet line installed, but it is always the line i use that has the probelms.

The second line is for his world of bl**dly worlock.
