Every pissing night, squished halfway down. I'm living with imbeciles. New Years resolution: buy my own toothpaste.

It's not fucking difficult but it's less difficult to squish it from wherever, you squish and it comes out. I know its very short sighted. Then everyone gets to play roll the end when it come to the end of toothpaste days.

Treat yourself to a new tube from Poundland. It's Christmas.

I squeeze mine at the middle in usage, then rectify it by squeezing it down at the end immediately post-usage.

I would like to do some sort of work flow analysis with tube squishing. How much time and effort is saved from doing it all the time, or waiting to the end? There are 4 main types:

  1. The squish and squish but you throw it away when nothing comes out easily.
  2. Squish squish, then during the end of days roll from the bottom.
  3. Squish squish but always from the bottom. Then maybe a final end of days roll.
  4. Squish roll, squish roll, squish roll.....

My gut feeling is 2 or 3.

How do people squeeze from the end? Do they have three hands? I'm a squeeze-from-the-middle-and-sort-out-afterwards kind of girl. Modern plastic toothpaste tubes don't need that three-handed end-squeezing malarkey.

Yanbu at all OP. I am an end squeezer! Annoys me when I see it squoze from the middle and I have to correct it.

Buy the kind in a dispenser, not a tube

I use one from Lidl that the rest of the family hate. They've never tried it, they can miraculously tell just by looking at the tube. its called Herbal Toothpaste, and its lovely. I also use a clove toothpaste from a local Asian supermarket.

I'm a squisher not an end squeezer, I feel like I'm doing a proper job if I've got a nice big dollop. End squeezing is too genteel for my liking (DP would quite happily beat me to death with a half squished toothpaste tube - bloody uptight end squeezer Grin )

TyneTeas · 30/12/2016 01:07

I middle-squish with reckless abandon until there is not much left, at which point the effort of end-squishing pays off.

But not until

IcedVanillaLatte · 30/12/2016 01:14

From discussion with close family members (it's Christmas) it seems that some end-squeezers are dealing with the three-hand problem by resting the nozzle on the toothbrush Shock

That's utterly utterly utterly revoltingly unhygienic Angry

Autumnchill · 30/12/2016 01:16

One of the reasons why I always buy the pump dispensers as this drives me batty!

TyneTeas · 30/12/2016 01:46

But why put all the effort into end-squeezing until you need to???
