to come out very quick when I ring them?
the ceiling hoist in dd's bedroom has just gone kaput. she was in it at the time, Bit annoyed as it was only serviced last week,
I will be ring them in the morning and have a feeling they will not come out tommorow as the are in essex and I am in sussex. so....
do you think i should tell them to sub contract it and get someone local out.
dd is 11 and has cp. lifting her has weakend bouth mine and dh's backs so we need the hoist,. we can lift between us.BUT as the lifts are at the begining and end of the day they always seem harder,.

I don't think it's unreasonable for you to ask for it to be fixed tomorrow. Particularly as it's just been serviced - in fact, might they have damaged it?

Hope DD was OK. And if you do have to lift for the next couple of days, take care to lift properly so as to protect your back.
