Dp and i get on great and are very happy. We are also individuals with our own children and careers etc. Wd have been together only a year.

Aibu when people ask me where my dp is when im alone? I dont bloody know... i havnt put a tracking device on him yet!! ( nor do i want to! )

Are these people making conversation or do they expect us to be like siamese twins ( which we are not!)?

I think probably YABU to be annoyed. It's most likely they're just making conversation. Either that or they really like him and genuinely want to hear about him.

Unless they're actually asking why he's not with you rather than saying something along the lines of "so what's dp up to today?" they probably don't expect you to be joined at the hip.

I don't think you are being unreasonable OP. I hate it when this happens

Oh I hate that, to me its like theyre insinuating I don't know where he is so he's probably at a strip club shoving fivers down a dancers thong or something Hmm

Thats probably just me being mental though.
