That's a weird link, what's on it?

FilledSoda · 14/12/2016 12:24

I'm hesitant too

fourforksache · 14/12/2016 12:25

It's a bit lame.

fourforksache · 14/12/2016 12:26

A pic of an unfeasible load of presents. Is there a story to go with the pic?

bumbleymummy · 14/12/2016 12:26

The woman who buys her children hundreds of presents each? Yeah, not the best message to send imo.

RudolphTheRedNoseReindeer · 14/12/2016 12:27

She did the same last year apparently. I read that the kids haven't used half the stuff she bought last Christmas. I think it's totally over the top and ridiculous so no, YANBU in my opinion. At the risk of sounding like my mother, this woman has lost (or never had) the real meaning of Christmas.

Sparlklesilverglitter · 14/12/2016 12:27

If she can afford it why not?

Snowflakes1122 · 14/12/2016 12:28

Where does she put all this shit she buys the kids each year?
Why does she feel the need to tell the world via social media too?

bumbleymummy · 14/12/2016 12:28

Link to BBC article here

EatTheCake · 14/12/2016 12:30

Meh it's her money to spend how she wishes

I remember waking up to huge piles of presents as a child and my DC get more than a lot of DC

Tomorrowillbeachicken · 14/12/2016 12:30

I'd wonder what she was compensating for. Seems OTT but it's her life

NoCapes · 14/12/2016 12:31

Wow it'd take all day to open that lot - that doesn't make Christmas 'special' it makes it fucking boring!
Surely by the 30th present the kids would be over it and just want to play?

fourforksache · 14/12/2016 12:31

Thanks for links 👍

Soubriquet · 14/12/2016 12:32

It's her again

I saw that the other day

She got loads of abuse on FB for the presents last year and this year she says she's determined to beat it. She's on tv tomorrow night I think

MrsPeppapig · 14/12/2016 12:33

Raising entitled children. How precious

NatalieRushman · 14/12/2016 12:34

Meh, the attention seeking is slightly irritating but it's her choice (albeit a strange one). I personally preferred a single, expensive present as a kid.

Pinkheart5915 · 14/12/2016 12:34

It's her money and her children. It doesn't effect me so I don't care what she spends TBH.

ALemonyPea · 14/12/2016 12:35

The pile of presents doesn't bother me, she can buy them what she likes. I just wonder how they can appreciate and enjoy that much stuff. My DC would get bored half way through opening that amount of presents.

fourforksache · 14/12/2016 12:35

I think it looks an overwhelming mess and it'd be a chore being enthusiastic for all those presents. Not my thing.

FuckThatShitWithHollyOn · 14/12/2016 12:37

It looks like media whoring to me. She probably gets ££ for interviews and photos. So next years pile will be even bigger. Ahhh the magic and spirit of Christmas is alive and well Hmm

monkeywithacowface · 14/12/2016 12:38

Meh not my cup of tea but whatever floats her boat. There are worse things you can do to and for your kids

Agerbilatemycardigan · 14/12/2016 12:39

Sorry. Meant to link to the site. It's on the BBC news site.

I think I'm just so shocked at the sheer volume of presents. Why does anybody need to buy so much for their children? I mean, we all love our kids and would give them the world metaphorically if we could, but it looks like she's trying to do it literally!

Nineloves1 · 14/12/2016 12:40

Blimey. Santa could be buried under that pile and wouldn't be found until Easter.

KondosSecretJunkRoom · 14/12/2016 12:42

Well if she is giving her dc 33 presents each that's more than I will be getting my children but once I add the gifts that they get from Grandparents, aunts and uncles and from friends it will be something similar. It can't be THAT unusual that require national condemnations and allegations of abuse? Grin
