To just want to enjoy Christmas ?

I love Christmas, I really do but everything seems to be going wrong.
I just want to do the last of my Christmas shopping, wrap the presents, have a mince pie and feel Christmassy.

Instead, I have a to do list as long as my arm, and everything that can go wrong is going wrong and it's not fair! Illness aside as I know I can't control that you think people would give me a break as it's coming up to Christmas rather than piling on the pressure ?? I can't take much more. I've spent virtually my whole day on the phone trying to sort out a massive issue and I'm shattered but can't sleep as my minds racing.
AIBU? I just want a rest and to enjoy the season

Yanbu. I find Christmas exhausting. Last weekend it was seeing Santa and the school Christmas fayre, this weekend it's panto and family visiting. I thought I'd got all the shopping out of the way but they've just decided to do secret santa at work and apparently it's wear a Christmas jumper day at dd's school on Friday so I've got to go into town again tomorrow. Just feels like it's go go go all the time. I prefer the few days after Christmas when I can just stay at home and the madness has ended.
