To miss a good xmas show thread?

I remember the days...of fumming, or parts being given away, or babies not being allowed in the hall.

Not seen a good thread this year. Is 2016 just a bad year for Christmas shows creating rage? If there's a good thread, please link it. I feel I need it to get in the Christmas spirit.

Sadly, we had a lovely show this morning. Nothing to report.

There were a couple the other day. One woman who left her dh at home with the baby as per school instructions only to find no-one else had bothered. And someone who's dd didn't get to be a sparkly angel. Not sure how to link on my phone though?

My 7 year old has been "rehearsing" a Christmas show she put together with all her little friends. Consists mainly of Christmas carols, dances they made up and a few CBeebies theme songs.

I came across the invitation she'd written the other day - luckily before she managed to send it out!
At the end of the long list of invitees, she asks all the town's buses to drop off their passengers at our address to watch the show - she even suggests they use google maps or google earth if they aren't sure how to find us

The invitation has been confiscated!!

Tanith, I think you should put up posters and charge. It sounds brilliant. We may also get a few good AIBUs...AIBU to have just paid a tenner for a Christmas Show which was a few kids singing carols and dancing? Can I complain to advertising standards?

Tanith has your DD considered going on The Apprentice? Sounds like she could show the candidates a thing or two on marketing!

I assumed it had gone the way of the sports days where everyone wins and everyone was Mary this year

I'm grateful she doesn't have access to Facebook. Just the thought of all those passengers descending on us is the stuff of nightmares. Imagine what she could have achieved with instant global access
